Crocus Hill, Summit Hill
Area Summary
Crocus Hill or Summit Hill is bordered by the intersection of Ayd Mill Road, which runs north and slightly west and Interstate 35E, which runs South and then Southeast and Summit Avenue forms the Northern boarder. Summit Avenue is known for it’s line of early to mid 1900s mansions. There are also several early 1900s apartment buildings along here as well. The majority of Summit is made up of some kind of residential housing while Grand Avenue is mostly made up of multi family housing and commercial space. Both Summit and Grand Avenues are main roads through town. Grand Avenue is full of services, restaurants, shopping and entertainment. The rest of Crocus/Summit Hill area, south of Grand Avenue, is mostly comprised of single family housing.
